My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Georgie is a 7 year old rescue dog. He enjoys sitting next to people, watching TV, and running in circles in the back yard. He is bonded to Tracy as they were shelter mates in TX together. He has travelled by car across the US (from TX to WA) and has dealt with the divorce of his people. He needs a home where people are home throughout the day and enjoy interacting with him, but don't necessarily want to snuggle. He loves treats and understands simple commands.

He spent the first year of his life in a shelter and I'm pretty sure he was abused when he was a puppy. He was left at the shelter with a broken hip. He can walk on a leash, but is very afraid of cars. He may be a little shy at first, but kindness will win him over. Because of his history I'm not sure that Georgie would do so well with little kids or homes that full of bustle and hustle - he enjoys a quiet life.

He's tried to adjust to not having people home throughout the day but its been hard.
