Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ricky & Lucy are a bonded pair who originally came to HHBR in June of 2003. They were found wandering outside San Antonio in a rural area. We think they were "dumped" to make it on their own. They were adopted in September 2003; however, because of a lifestyle change their adoptive family cannot keep them. So, Ricky and Lucy need a new home. Ricky is a tri-colored, neutered male, and Lucy is a red & white spay female. They both weigh over 50 pounds and are ~8 years old. They are both typical laid-back bassets that get along with other dogs and love people. At our Meet & Greets when anyone came up to pet them they would lay down and roll over for a belly rub. They will need to be placed in a home together. They need love and attention and a securely fenced yard to run around in. In return they will give lots of love and bassety kisses. Do you have room in your heart and home for two great bassets? If you do, fill out an online application today
