ADOPTION PENDING ~ MEET OLAF - This quirky little Yorkie melts our hearts. He needs an emotional support human to love him and give him stability. Olaf was a rescue only dog at a large Central Valley shelter. He was on the streets a while for sure and came to us with a bad cough. we’ve had him at the vet multiple times.
Olaf Was checked and cleared of heart murmur- tested negative for heart worm. Olaf was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. He can have a good quality of life with a few restrictions. Harness Vs collar, food that’s easier to get down, not too much exercise and keep his weight normal. He is crate trained, you will have to take him out right away so he can lift his leg to his hearts content outside he is very sweet and loveable, he will need to remain leashed until he knows your safe or he will hide. His Foster parents walk him around the house and yard on a leash so he feels more secure, he will need to do this in his new home for a while until he learns the inhabitants are all friendlies and safe. He passed a basic eye exam, His bangs should remain short or pinned back to help him out.
