My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTERED IN: Oak Forest, IL 60452
ESTIMATED DOB: 2011
COLOR/BREED: Orange Mediumhair
KIDS: Likely
DOGS: Yes
CATS: Yes

HISTORY:
Big John had a loving owner who unexpectedly passed away.

ABOUT:
Big John is a BIG boy weighing in at 21lbs (but he could stand to lose a few of those). He could easily be a Maine Coon or Forest Cat mix considering his substantial size. As you can expect, Big John is not incredibly active and prefers to just lie around and be loved and petted. His foster mom claims she one time saw him swat a wand toy, but without video evidence, we do not believe her. Encouraging this boy to become more active would do wonders for his health. He likes to follow his foster family around like you might expect a dog to do, so walks around the house could become part of his exercise routine.

Big John loves any attention you will give him, including brushing his beautiful coat. He has no off-limits touching zones. He would love to snuggle with you on the couch or the bed, but currently he might need some assistance to get on taller furniture. Big John is front paw declawed.

Big John loves attention from everyone so while he may not seek children out to play, we think he would be happy receiving love and attention from them. Big John is good with other cats, he lived with 2 in his previous home and is currently being fostered with one of them. Big John has met the resident small dogs, all of whom he outweighs, and he is completely comfortable and at home with them.
