My name is Fiji. I came to be here looking for my special someone because I was found in a trap and they couldn't find my owner. I had an injury to my eye and it had to be removed. But let me tell you it hasn't stopped me from doing all the things I love to do.
My foster mom thinks I'm the greatest but she may be a little biased!! So let me tell you a little about myself. I don't appear to be very old. I am good about going potty outside (a routine and not making me wait too long is most helpful). I get along with other dogs, cats and kids. Although it's great fun when the cat runs. I don't want to hurt it but it is fun to chase. I am fine with all types and sizes of dogs.
My most favorite thing in the whole world is squeaky toys or maybe it's treats. I don't know but I think they both rank right up there. My foster mom thinks I'm the perfect mix between independent and a cuddle bug. I don't need to be carried everywhere but I do love to snuggle up on the couch. I also love to be covered up with the blanket. I'm not a destroyer so you can crate me when you're gone or not. I will let you know when someone comes in the house but other than that I'm pretty quiet.
