My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born ~2020, F, Lynx Point Siamese
________________________________________
When this girl came to our door she was round and pregnant. She was also hungry and thin with her body working to grow her babies. We fed her and worried about her. It was not safe for her to be outside here on the edge of the woods. After a few days of looking for her family we brought her inside.

We knew she had had a family because she was so friendly and loving. Since we were well known as cat lovers we wondered if her past family had abandoned her in our driveway. No matter, we set up a birthing box for her and quite soon she had five lovely kittens.

She was a very good mom. Of course we have had her spayed and in some of her photos, you can see where her tummy was shaved making her look skinny. She has grown up and is skinny no longer. Now it is time for her to be pampered and treasured as she takes up her role as a very loved, little companion kitty.

Brittany is a lynx point Siamese with markings on her head, ears and tail. Her soft body is bright white with very plush, silky hair. Her eyes are the blue of a Siamese (though in some lights that blue does not show in photographs). You can tell she was a child bride, very young when she got pregnant because you can see that while we have had her her markings have darkened on her head and especially on her tail. This is entirely typical for young Siamese kitties as they mature.

Siamese kitties are known for wanting a close, loving bond with their humans. This good natured, easy care girl could fit into a number of different home situations. She would be fine in a fairly quiet home with older children. She would also be perfect as the heart of a home providing warm companionship for one or two older adults. I don't know how she would be with dogs. If they were comfortable with cats after the right introduction she would probably be fine.

Some person or family will be so lucky to have her loving presence.

She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Brittany is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Brittany please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
