My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This girl...this girl is the BRAVEST and SWEETEST kitten I have ever had the blessing to welcome to Pet Tails Rescue. My heart has fallen in love once again...
ECLIPSE (affectionately known as "BOO") has had a bit of a tough time. BOO is a fighter. BOO is lucky to be alive. BOO is a BLESSING. This wee little one was just over 1/2 lb when she was found 6 months ago at just a few weeks old. A good samaritan found her and brought her to a local vet's office. Her eyes were severely infected from an untreated URI. From the moment our rescue partner SCAT said "yes" when receiving a call about trying to save this sweet girl’s life all she did was purr through all her agony. And from that moment on BOO has known nothing but love....and countless vet visits, eye surgeries and an entire village of fosters, caretakers and supporters rooting this little one on. One eye was so badly damaged it had to be removed. BOO'S village fought long and hard to save her remaining eye. Weeks of medication and drops turned into months. BOO'S foster mom's held their breathe at every specialist eye visit she was taken too hoping they would not hear that that her remaining eye needed to be removed also. Finally the day came and the eye specialist stated that although BOO'S other eye had scarring she was still capable of seeing light and shapes through it. And she was now ready to head north to find her very special family. And BOO....well BOO just kept purring the entire time.
We are so very happy to have BOO with us while we search for her "very special family". Sometimes you would never know that this girl is visually impaired. She climbs cat trees and uses her paws to "feel" her way down. If she is unsure she will let out the sweetest little "cackle" asking for a bit of assistance. But once she gets a lay of the land - there is nothing that stops her. She is RESILIENT. She is BRAVE . And she is an INSPIRATION. I love just being in her presence. I love watching her explore and find her way. I relish how she plays with strings and springs and goes running off with my face mask when I am not looking. BOO is a character and full of personality.

BOO Loves love. She loves curling up on your lap and giving the best kitty hugs I have ever had. And purrs....well they just never seem to stop. All she wants is her very own person who will take just a bit of time to introduce her to her new environment and to listen for a sweet little "cackle" if she is initially unsure of her footing. And she would also love a soft cuddly lap and lots of hugs, kisses and sweet whispers of how beautiful she is. (Her foster moms used to tell her this all the time). She would be fine with having furry sibling friends or being the center of someone;s world.
BOO also loves to travel. She enjoys car rides and loves to explore.

And now it is time for BOO to bless her very own family with all of her inspiration, steadfastness and simple pure LOVE. This girl has a plethora of gifts to offer. And oh...they are MAGNIFICENT BLESSINGS that will not only inspire you but will hold your heart captive for a lifetime. And lastly...lets not forget a lifetime of PURRS.

All kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FELV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed and have received a health exam from our veterinarian and received a NH Health Certificate.
