My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:11/11/2017

Description:

Please copy/paste this link to see just how sweet and loving Savvy is:  https://youtu.be/R3rye3SDK0k

Hello! My name is Savvy. I was rescued in a housing community with my 4 babies. The wonderful people who took me in believed that I was once someone's pet but when they moved, they left me behind. So I am friendly, although a little unsure sometimes. I have never lashed out at her and if I am scared I just choose to hide somewhere until I know it is safe. I finished raising my babies and now want to find my own home again, hopefully my last. I really am a sweet kitty and will come to you for chin scratches and ear rubs until my little heart is content. Will you be the one to give me my coveted scratches and rubs?

Words to Describe Me: sweet, temperamental, calm

Favorite Place to Sleep: Cat tree

Favorite Toy: I like any kind of small toy that I can throw around

Perfect Day: Laying around with some occasional love on my terms

Kitty's Likes: Loves chin scratches and ear rubs, also butt rubs

Kitty's Dislikes: being held for very long - don't like you to walk away when you are giving me love - I give a little swat to let you know I want you to keep going

Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Butt rubs

Favorite Treat: Temptations

Job Title in Foster: Mama

Additional adoption info

Go meet their pets

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
