My story

Ruben is fostered in Alabama. When we have an approved application, we put the adopter in touch with the foster.

Ruben is a great find in rescue. His face lights up when he hears children, he loves all people, and he is wonderful with other dogs. In fact, we prefer he have another dog in his life. Hounds were bred to live and work in packs. He's a snuggler with canine friends.

Ruben is approximately two years old, maybe a little older, he’s housetrained, crate trained, and a real sweetheart. He will require a true fenced yard, as all of our stray dogs do. This is not a dog to leave crated while a family works. He is better suited for a home where someone is around more often than not.
