My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful young momma came into our care with 7, 10 week old kittens, and was already pregnant. She gave birth again on August 23rd, to 6 more kittens-Lou, Laci, Lexy, Lora, Leia and Lola. She is a great momma, and totally trusted her foster momma and quckly became a snuggler! Yardley is a is very sweet and affectionate, and loves belly rubs and cuddles. At some point in her young life, she sustained an injury to her Left eye and has no sight in it. This doesn't affect her ability to function well in any way. She loves to play with her chirpy mouse and chase a ball. Her days of babies are over and she is ready for her forever indoor home. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed.

An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!
