Hi, my name is Romeo. I am a 10 month old, neutered, male cat. Everyone compliments my beautiful lynx point coloring and my foster mom loves my white toes. I am lucky to have such short, low maintenance fur. My eyes are light blue and my foster mom says I have a cute, bewildered expression on my face.
I am so sweet and love attention from those that I’m close to. I immediately asked for attention when I met my foster mom. When visitors come over I am shy at first but then I get yummy treats and that helps bring me out of my shell. I can be kind of demanding for attention so I am working on asking for pets without using my claws and teeth. I love to lay in your lap while you pet me and I love to purr.
I’m learning how to play and I like to climb a lot. The window is my favorite thing so far. I also enjoy the cat dancer and playing with my foster cat sister Juliet. I like to explore too. My foster mom lets us out to explore the whole house and I really love that.
I will eat any type of canned food, I love to eat and demand to be fed all the time. I even learned out to pull treats out from an enrichment toy using my paw! I always have to do a big stretch after eating. It feels so good! I do not try to bury my food like other cats sometimes do.
My foster mom says I am a chatterbox but I think she is more of a chatterbox than me! I will talk back to her if she talks to me and I’m not afraid to talk when I want something like food or attention.
I have had zero litterbox accidents since living with my foster mom.
I met the family dog and was neutral about him. I sniffed him through a baby gate and hopped right over but then he scared me a bit when he got too close to me and didn’t back off. My foster mom thinks I’d do great with a dog that is used to cats with proper introductions. I haven’t met any tiny humans yet. My foster mom thinks I’d be better with older kids who can respect my space and have patience.
Juliet is my best friend and I must go to a home with her. We were found together so we have a very special bond.
We require kittens to be adopted in pairs or into a home with another young kitty. Please see our website to understand why. https://www.thekittenscradle.org/adoption-application/adopt/pairs/
All cats are vetted, which includes feluk/fiv testing, deworming, age appropriate vaccines and spay or neuter.
The Kittens Cradle is foster based which means that our adoptable cats are all in caring foster homes throughout the twin cities area. If you are interested in meeting this kitty, please call 763-350-9871 or email us at info@thekittenscradle.org
