Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Pinky. She is about a year and half old and weighs about 7lbs. Here in the rescue, she started out as a bit of a neurotic Chihuahua but is young, has great potential and can be trained. She seemed to have some fear and nervousness around strangers and other dogs but she does perfectly fine with other Chihuahuas. At first she snapped sometimes if she feared abrupt movements or she thought she may be hurt. Since she has been in rescue for several weeks getting trained, she has calmed down and become a normal, happy little dog. She finally opened up to humans but on her terms. She has let new people love on her and pick her up and many times she seeks out attention from strangers. Seeing this breakthrough was amazing. She can be a very loving little thing who really wants to sit on her human's lap or just be near them. She is not fully housebroken but uses potty pads. Her ideal home will be with a mature pet parent(s) in a home with NO young children and preferably no dogs other than Chihuahuas. She needs a pet parent who has Chihuahua experience and will give her the time and patience she needs to adjust. Her adoption fee is $250 and she will come to you spayed, current on vaccines/rabies/bordatella, micro-chipped, dewormed and vet checked.
