Harlow is a 7.5 month old male Retriever mix. He weighs approximately 48 lbs. Harlow is a 7.5 month old male Retriever mix. He weighs approximately 48 lbs. From his foster - "Here is my work buddy. He is low to moderate energy. I think if someone was looking for a hiking, running, walking partner he would love it. While jogging he does remarkably well. Starting to initiate playing with his humans as well as his toys. Harlow is a gentle boy. Easily corrected.
He patiently waits for his food until I tell him ok. He will sleep in his crate with the door open. He is starting to play with toys. He is still trying to figure out how to play with humans. Met our neighbors dog tonight and did really well. Saw a bunch of people on our walk, Harlow did awesome he showed interest in them. He needs time to warm up. Someone with patience as give him time to show you he has a sweet and gentle personality.
Harlow would do well with a well balanced fur sibling. He likes to snuggle. He is doing well with his house manners. We continue to work on his confidence building. He would also do well with an experienced handler that would continue to help him not be so insecure. Knows sit and down with food rewards. Best suited with dog savvy kids."

Harlow is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue centered in Bonifay and Panama City, FL (NY Lic #1054). This dog is currently in NY. The minimum donation $450 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, de-worm, flea prevention, heartworm prevention and martingale safety collar.
