Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This cute little pup was found tied to a pole in a grocery store parking lot. Unfortunately, the person who found him lived in a group home and couldn't take him home so she actively sought out a temporary foster who could hold him until an owner or a rescue group could be found to take him in. No owner stepped up to claim him and our rescue agreed to take him in to find a new family for him.
Cooper is an easy-going puppy. He would rather be with people than dogs although he gets along with other dogs, even with the dogs that have more difficult personalities. He does well in the house and loves lounging on the sofa. He gets along well with all people, other dogs of all sizes, as well as cats. Our vet estimates he is approximately 5 months old and he currently weighs 30 pounds. He is some type of hound mix. We estimate he will be medium sized when fully grown. He has the cutest face and is a sweet puppy. He will make some lucky family very happy.
Cooper's adoption fee is $650 (that includes GROUND transport from Houston, TX to the Hartford, CT area). Transport is arranged upon completion of adoption paperwork. We can do virtual meet and greets with pre-approved adopters prior to adoption finalization. Cooper has been fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, so he is ready to go! Cooper is currently in his foster home in Houston, TX and will remain there until adopted.
