My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whiskers needs you. This 5 year old pretty tabby originally came to us as a stray. She was adopted, but was sadly surrendered, because her owner fell on hard times and was no longer able to care for her. She`s not sure what to make of things and we are doing our best to let her know that we love her. She`ll need a quiet home with a patient owner, and she`ll be happiest as your one and only pet. Whiskers is very sweet and talkative but does not like other animals and becomes very stressed when she sees or hears them. Being in the shelter has become challenging because of her dislike of other animals. We currently have her in one of our quieter rooms so it`s less stress for her. And we feel that once she is in a loving home, she will be the loving companion she was meant to be. We would also consider a foster home without any other pets. If you believe in second chances like we do, please contact the shelter at info@vaonj.org or call 856-627-9111 and ask to meet Whiskers.
