Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Beau!
He is brand new to us from one of our rescue partners in Texas.
He is a quite and reserved little man, not timid. Just mellow. He was out with other small dogs and he did fine with all of them but he didn't show any interest in playing. He does like to be held and even in a play group with other dogs he will seek out the human and asked to be snuggled
Would be a great companion dog!
Here is another video of him: https://youtu.be/l2ZNRGUglN8
Basics: He is guessed to be around 3 yrs old and weighs approx 9lbs. He is spayed, up to date on vaccines, rabies, heartworm negative and has been dewormed
If you'd like to adopt please reach out!
Adoption Process:
- please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application
- one of our team members will get back to you.
- our dogs can be seen by appointment only after an approved application has been received. We do not have a facility. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
About Us:
Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
We rely on donations to help fund our ongoing transports. Please donate if you can. Every dollar adds up and we are grateful for any help we can get: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/DayoftheDogs
