My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This girl is beautiful not only in body but also in soul. She is a strong player and will be rough and tumble with other dogs but then throw down for a snuggle with her humans. She was listed as a basenji or mix but we've also been told to consider that she may be a red Australian Kelpie. No matter what her genetics shows, she is a beautiful and sweet girl who is 42 lbs and 2 years old. She is crate-trained, house-trained and good with most other dogs and older kids. She may be a little "dog selective" but we all should be picky about our friends, right?

Dingo has come back to us due to some protective behaviors. She needs a spot where she can receive good leadership and continued training on how to make sure she doesn't take that leadership role.

Dingo is too much with cats and will not be able to live with them safely. She walks beautifully on leash. She is an energetic girl so is looking for an active family to call her own and one who can stimulate her smart brain as well as her busy body. What a great medium size sweetheart! Dingo needs a careful introduction to new people and dogs and patient leaders who understand her needs.

If you have interest in meeting Dingo or any of our sweeties, please fill out the adoption application.

Please note: we do not have a physical location where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful network of foster homes. Our expectation is, once a family is approved through the rescue, that they will meet the dog(s) in their foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.

Thank you for considering rescue!
