Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Pippi!
Hi, my name is Pippi! I'm about 11 years old and weigh around 14lbs. I'm just a little lady! I was lost in TN until I was found by a good samaritan. She tried finding my owners, but had no luck. Then I went to animal control, and boy was that scary! Luckily I was taken in by a rescue group who found a nice foster home for me till I could make my way up to WI.
There are lots of dogs here at my foster home and I get along with them pretty well. I don't play, but they have all accepted me for who I am, and I even get along with cats. I haven't been around kids in my foster home, but I do follow my foster parents around everywhere, like a little Velcro dog. My foster family has me on a very good potty schedule so I can go outside to do all my business and not have accidents. I don’t mind kenneling up if you need me to, though I prefer not to be - I am a really good girl.
I am not sure if it’s the age or the miles, but I am slowing down a bit - my legs are a little wobbly and my ears are a little … what? … but I do enjoy car rides and going for walks on a leash, so maybe you could take me on some adventures? If not, I like relaxing and taking naps, and would love someone who will let me nap next to them once in a while! Does that sound like something I could do with you?

Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.
