Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Masha was seen being dumped out of a car in late August in south Austin. Despite the best efforts of neighbors, she was not found after being dumped. Nearly a month later, she was seen popping out of a patch of dense woods not far from her dumping spot into a neighborhood for food and water. The neighbor feeding her could only see her out of their windows...when they tried to go out to bring her inside, she would disappear as quickly as she had appeared, back into the woods. They reported her on Nextdoor and TRAPRS went to get her. A trap was set and within an hour, the underweight Masha had found the treats in the trap and was safe.
Masha has now been in foster for a couple of weeks nad has readjusted to home life just wonderfully. She has put on some weight, gets along great with her fur family, canine and feline alike, and loves her foster dad and rarely leaves his side. She has done well with house training and has learned sit and down. She has some mild separation anxiety, so does well in a house with other pets to keep her company when her human isn't home. She doesn't love a crate, but will settle down in one after some initial resistance/whining. Masha is the sweetest girl looking for her new forever.
