My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rusty is a beautiful, sweet young Malinois who has captured our hearts. He was rescued from a major hoarding/neglect situation with about 20 other Malinois, has been vet checked, and put most of his weight back on.

He is relatively low energy for a Malinois, and from what we've seen, would make a good starter Malinois. He could use a little more work on leash walking, but he will also come with the offer of a free 8 week Beginner group class at Diamond Dogs in Menifee to help concrete his manners and help him bond with his new adopter or foster.

He has been kenneled successfully with 4 other male Malinois and Shepherds (neutered and intact) and did really well, and may have been out with 12 or more dogs in the neglect situation he was taken from.

He is a little shy with new people (but not rude), and did really well at his vet appointment (we can provide videos).

He LOVES to give hugs and kisses when he knows you, and responds well to praise and firm/disappointed tones for corrections.

He is neutered and will be microchipped and current on all vaccines prior to adoption.

This boy is a pure gem of a friend, and words cannot express how much we love him - if we could, we would honestly keep him, but our pack is unfortunately full. Whoever adopts this guy will be extremely lucky in our opinion!
