Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Buddy!
Oh! Hello. My name is Buddy and I'm just about 10 years old and weigh 18 pounds. My owner passed away, so I ended up in rescue. It's really okay here, because luckily I still get to live in a house, and not in a cage at the shelter, although I'd still be happier with my forever family. There are some teenage kids here in my home and I do well with them, but I haven't been around any little kids yet. Oh, yeah, and I'm good with other dogs too! Another plus, I do all my business outside where I'm supposed to.
My favorite thing is if I can be by my human. Laying next to them on the couch, following them to the kitchen, sitting on their lap in the chair, or snuggling together in bed. I haven't shown any interest in toys since being in my foster home. I can't wait to find my forever people so I can start the rest of my life with them!

Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.
