Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mo!
This handsome boy just turned two years old. His DNA analysis shows he is 50% Boston Terrier, 25% Labrador Retriever, and 25% a mix of guarding/companion/hound groups. He weighs 38 lbs. Mo was one of a litter of puppies JoJo's had in 2019. He was adopted at 8 weeks old. His family is no longer able to give him the kind of home he needs and has asked us to find him a home that will make him happiest. They believe he needs an environment with more activity than he gets with them.
Mo enjoys fetch, running, wrestling/playing with other dogs, cuddling, tug-of-war, chasing squirrels and rabbits, learning new things with positive reinforcement training, destroying “tough” toys, and naps in his bed. He is crate-trained and housebroken. He gets alone well with other dogs. He has not lived with children or cats, so those are unknowns. He can be a little bit shy initially, but once he knows you he is silly, energetic, playful, cuddly, lively, curious, loving and affectionate.
He does have the sensitive skin common to his Boston Terrier breed and it is currently being controlled with allergy medications. He was having some tummy issues that the vet has determined to be food-related so he is now transitioning successfully to a food that works for him. If you have had and loved Bostons in the past, these issues will be second nature to you.
If you are interested in meeting Mo, please email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application, or download one from our website www.jojosdoghouse.com. Adoption fee is $250 and includes neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and parasite treatment and prevention. Thanks for choosing adoption!
