My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Allen is a young timid and sweet dog who is looking for his forever family.   He has had a rough start to life and was sick with kennel cough when he first came to the rescue from a high kill shelter.  He spent a week at the vet and returned to being healthy and happy but still unsure of what is coming next.   He will crawl up in your lap and give kisses and just wants to be held and reassured that he will be loved.  Allen was adopted but has been returned because of a bite.   He does not like to be covered with a blanket or towel to be picked up and he is afraid of the dryer when he is groomed.   If you are willing to invest the time and patience he will get past this problem and become a wonderful family pet who will give years of joy.   Allen will do well in a family home with older children only and other dogs who will teach him how to have confidence and learn to play.   If you are interested in Allen please complete an application on line at www.ahome4everrescue.org.
