Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Papi was found on the streets in Arkansas as a 6 week old puppy. We believe that he spent his puppyhood in the pound. When he was around 4 months old, we came across the picture of him and had to rescue him; because seriously, who could resist the sadness in that boys eyes. Papi is now a half grown happy, goofy, loving boy. They say that he is a terrier/hound mix, but with that long pointy nose and and ears at half mast we think that there may be some Shepard in him too. Papi loves toys! He will happily fetch a ball and prance around with it in his mouth or find a squeaky toy and dare you or other pups come get it. Papi is pretty good at going outside to go potty. He is working on keeping his feet on the floor (he gets so excited to see you that he struggles not to bounce off you). He's also working on keeping his teeth off your hands (he doesn't bite, but is a little mouthy). Papi knows how to sit, generally comes when called and is practicing walking on a leash (he sometimes gets scared and freezes or tries to run to check something out). Papi loves people and dogs (he wanted to check out the cat, but the cat wasn't interested). This sweet boy is looking for a family that is willing to continue to teach him how to be a good boy and love him forever- can you open your heart and home to him?
