My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet lady Serena is just longing for a family to love! She is very loving, likes to be near her people and it's rare to find her not smiling. After a difficult start, having been found abandoned and pregnant in a field, she is ready for brighter and happier days. She is a smart girl and as sweet as they come. She loves human attention, loves to be pet, will lean into your legs to show her affection, and will plop down on her back and soak up any attention you want to give her. She has medium energy appropriate for her age estimated to be around 2 years old. She’s heartworm negative, micro-chipped and up to date with vaccinations. She was a great Mama to her babies, nursing them patiently and we have every reason to believe she will make a wonderful family companion. She can be a bit shy and bashful at first and seeks reassurance from her people so we're thinking a home without young toddlers would be best at this time until she gains more confidence.
