Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are desperate for help fostering or adopting out a young , male, German Shepherd.
We saw a beautiful, 1-2 yr old German Shepherd wandering our neighborhood one day, about 3 weeks ago. My wife and I have never owned dogs, and currently our house is full with roommates and cats, so we couldn’t take a dog in. We saw he was scared, and searching frantically for his home. We put out some water, and he finally decided to hang out in our front yard. Shortened version: he escaped and County Animal Control caught him. We got him out of there, and are now trying to find a home for him.
He is bonding well with us, but needs training to get over his fear of isolation and separation. He appears to have had some training, he is house trained, responds to some basic commands, sit, laydown, shake, go for a walk, go for a ride. wants to play with other dogs.
We need to find a home ASAP, since we aren't equipped to keep him.
