Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lacy!
Hound lovers, it's your lucky day-meet Lacy! This gorgeous coonhound girl is around 8-9 years old and is the perfect size for snugglin' at 60 pounds. Lacy is a big goofball who loves everyone she meets and might give you a kiss if you're lucky. Her passions include sniffing allll the smells and licking peanut butter Kongs clean. If you leave a yummy mess on the countertops, she is very happy to help you clean that up too! Lacy has a wonderful personality and is a very good playmate with other dogs. She respects the cats in her foster home and thinks their food is more interesting than they are. In typical hound fashion, Lacy loves to follow her nose and thrives with leisurely scent walks through the neighborhood. She would be a great candidate for scent training! Being very food- and praise-motivated, Lacy is making progress with manners and leash training in her foster home. After a long walk and some cuddles, this silly lady is content to snooze in her crate or on a nice, cushy dog bed. She would be a great addition to various types of homes. Apply today to add Lacy to your pack!

Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.
