Meet Diva!

Little Diva was dumped, we know this because she had a collar when we came across her on the streets. It’s standard practice for any rescue to try and find the owner if the cat seems to belong to someone. Unfortunately no one claimed Diva and it was clear she needed prompt medical attention. She was very sick and visibly pregnant. Our newly-formed nonprofit decided that even though we didn’t have sufficient funds yet, we would not abandon her. The vet visit did not give good news. There were complications with her pregnancy and an emergency c-section had to be done to try and save her, sadly none of her kittens survived. Diva however did make it through. She had a strong will to survive and we have helped her every step of the way. After months of care from her rescuer/foster mom, Diva is now a beautiful friendly perfect cat. She is our reminder of why we do what we do.
