Hi, my name is Victor and I’m a big red dog! My foster family say that I’m very rare, because I’m a red Golden Retriever from Egypt. I’m a very Majestic boy and as happy as they come. I’m constantly thumping my tail with happiness. I’m around a year and a half.
I’m great with humans and other dogs. I am not a fan of cats though (well I like them as food) and cannot be in a home with cats!
I just love toys and the odd slipper lying around. I’m a very big boy, they say, like a little horse. As for walking, I need some help as I pull. A gentle leader or a harness is what I need to slow me down a little. As I’m very strong. I need someone who is capable of walking me and working with me. I also would love a fenced in yard as I love to be outside. I wonder what I will think of snow but I bet I will love it! Even though I’m a big guy, I’m not aware I’m that big as I like to sit on laps and cuddle in small spaces. I haven’t been around small children but sometimes I just don’t know my own strength so all kids in my home need to be over 10.
Also, I must admit, I’m a little rusty with my manners, and I need gentle reminders not to jump up on people. But honestly, I’m so eager to please and love people that I know I will be an amazing family dog. If you feel you would be a good fit for me and me for you, let Just Paws know. Our adoption fees are as follows:
$800 for puppies (approx. 1 year and under)
$750 for adults (2-6 years)
$600 for seniors (7 years and up)
All new pet parents will receive 6 weeks complimentary Pet Secure Accident and Illness Protection for any dog adopted from Just Paws. Once activated, the trial will cover veterinary bills up to $500.00 for accidents or illnesses, excluding pre-existing conditions. Please note that Just Paws is not responsible for insurance issues that may arise with your chosen veterinarian
