Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nora is a 1.5 year old tricolor rat terrier-beagle with maybe a dash of jack russell and sheltie = All American. She along with one newborn pup at her side were turned into one of the LA County Shelters by their owner along with a group of other kindred dogs after their illegal kennel was discovered. Her pup didn't make it but she was taken into rescue on 11/21. Nora has sad eyes as did all the dogs but the other two we already have in rescue were likewise petrified at the shelter turned out to be very sweet natured dogs, blooming with kind treatment in a foster home setting. Nora is about 22lbs. and has been spayed, is current on her shots and microchipped. We estimate she will be ready for a dog savvy and quiet adult home environment after the holidays. Adoption process: complete of a pre adoption application, homecheck, contract, trial period and adoption donation of $175. She would do best in a home with another dog and could be adopted along with one of her other rescued kin in our rescue. See Hannah Montana, Dancer or Brandy. Nora is crate trained but is elusive so leash training will be something an experienced adopter will have to work on. She needs a secure yard and lots of patience.
