Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our sweet little talkative weirdo Grayson is still here! He was adopted pretty soon after we got him but returned due to poor leash skills. He has been evaluated by a trainer and she doesn’t recommend he be placed in a home with other dogs. Funny thing is...He LOVES our dog...but does bark at other dogs he sees, whether it is one he sees out the window of the house, out the window of the car, or on walks. He loves playing with the neighbor dog through the fence. Other than that….. he is shy and loving. He is a talker! He howls when he is happy to see you! He howls when he is trying to tell you something! He howls when he is telling you off!! He is one of the quirkiest dogs which my family agrees makes him perfect. He will need a forver family who is patient and willing to work with him to see how much more awesome he can become!
Foster Update: Grayson is a shy and sweet little guy. He needs to warm up to people (some longer than others). We feel like there is so much more to learn about him. The longer he is here, the more he loosens up. He loves getting his chin scratched! He is a dainty eater and very gentle with treats. He is all around gentle.
Grayson is an alert dog (which is nice since our dog isn’t). He loves to jump on our beds (we don't normally allow this but it’s hard to resist him). He’s starting to get a little goofy which is so fun to see. Grayson is great on leash and loves walks and some jogging however we are working on leash reactivity when he sees another dog. Loves being with his people. Needs a dog savvy adopter with the time and commitment to continue Grayson's training and give him lots of structure and consistency. No dog parks or off leash with other dogs. Loves going for rides and is great in the car.
Intro: Meet Grayson, he was taken to a shelter as the owners could not look after him anymore, the shelter asked LR to help him as he was being overlooked and here he is looking for a wonderful forever home. Grayson is a sweet boy he is a quiet boy and on the sensitive side, he loves to be right by your side. He is super skinny just now so needs lots of good groceries and lots of love, apart from that he seems to be in real good health.
