My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET OLIVER. He's a 12 year old sweet, 10 lbs Yorkie looking for a quiet home where he will have lots of attention and love.
Oliver is being fostered in Canton, IL.

Oliver must be adopted within a 20 mile radius of his foster home. Please consider this before applying for him.

nitial 9/17/21: Oliver was previously adopted through United Yorkie Rescue, however his owner passed away, so he's looking for a new Forever Home.

Oliver is well behaved. It seems at one time he was well loved & had an owner that trained him pretty well. He appears to be house trained and does his business outside. Oliver will require a home with a secure fenced in yard due to his creative ability to escape and wander. He likes to go outside in the fenced yard & explore! sniff everything out there. Please note wireless fences will not be permitted.

An active retired couple with a quiet home would be ideal for Oliver as he enjoys walks, however will need to be on a secure harness. He was excited to go for a walk at the park this morning & does very well on a leash!

Despite his missing teeth, he has a fantastic appetite! He has let me know he will not be sleeping in a kennel. He prefers the center of the bed. He has already claimed a couple of dog beds and a spot on the couch. He is very sweet and not a barker.

Oliver has an upcoming appointment with the Dogtor, so more to come!
