Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTERED IN: Chicago, IL 60660
ESTIMATED DOB: 09/2018
COLOR/BREED: Tabby Shorthair
KIDS: Some
DOGS: Yes
CATS: Yes
HISTORY:
Nomu was surrendered to a shelter, his more outgoing sibling was quickly adopted, but because Nomu was a bit scared he was overlooked.
ABOUT:
Nomu is a gentle, affectionate, goofy, low-maintenance guy. He’s the kind of guy who likes to hide under the bed, but forgets that his tail is sticking out. Nomu will always be happy to see you when you get home, and has a special knack for squeezing into whatever space is next to you. Nomu might take a moment to feel comfortable in new surroundings, but he’s worth the wait! Nomu likes to let you know when he thinks that it should be bedtime by getting into “his” spot by your pillow and waits for you to join him. Not that Nomu is ever far from you...but on the off chance that it happens he comes to his name when called.
Nomu is great with the resident cats after getting to know them. He is excellent at reading their energy and just goes with the flow. He follows their lead to decide if it is nap time or wrestle time. He has also become comfortable with the resident large breed dog. We think Nomu would do great in homes with cats, dogs, or as an only pet. Nomu’s foster thinks that he would warm up and adjust to homes with children as long as they can understand he might need some patience at first.
