Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tootsie aka "The Baby" aka "Small Fry" is one of those cats that brings a smile to your face, laughter to your home and melts your heart on a daily basis. She was found mere minutes before the onslaught of Hurricane Henri in search of a meal and maybe a friend who could rescue her from the impending storm. She settled in her foster home instantly, making herself at home from the moment her paws hit the ground. Every hear of the Yiddish word "chutzpah"? Well Tootsie sure has it! She was instantly fearless, going up against our fosters large (and not so nice) male cats instantly, despite their hissing warnings to stay away. Tootsie just wanted to play. She figured out the routine of the multi-cat household right away and immediately found herself following the rhythm and rules of the other house cats. She never sits in the kitten bed, or uses the kitten litterbox, or eats out of the kitten food bowl. Oh no. She goes right to the top. Nothing but oversized beds, cat boxes and food for Tootsie. Yup. She sure has chutzpah! But the fact is, she's so cute, everyone is just sighs and says "oh Tootsie", because that's just her! She may be small, but she is mighty! She can handle pretty much any living situation thrown her way. But we envision her being in a loud household with lots of people and activity. A family with children is highly recommended. Even a dog would do! We kid tested her with the fosters two friends who are 8 and. Those girls played with her for hours and Tootsie was happy to oblige! They carried her around endlessly, Tootsie taking the odd handling of child hands as they carried her around pretending she was Simba from Lion King and "Queen of the Kitties" (which is basically true). I swear, if they had costumes, they'd have dressed her up and Tootsie would have loved it! She's really easy going, but highly energetic at the same time. She instantly purrs the moment she's in your arms and loves to roll over to have her belly rubbed by her human servants.
