Puma is a female sable terrier mix puppy. She and her 6 litter mates were born in rescue 7/20/21 to mom Leena, a 24 pound brown wire haired cutie. She came to us from Bossier City Animal Control. The “Tennis Shoe” puppies will be ready on September 15!

Puma weighed just over 7 pounds on 9/6/21. She will likely be a medium sized adult. All the puppies enjoy toys, chase and wrestling. They have mom’s laid back personality. The adoption fee for Puma is $200. She has had 2 sets of vaccinations and 2 full rounds of deworming. She will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract, signed by the adopter requiring the adopter to have the puppy spayed/neutered before six months of age at the adopter’s expense.

We require all potential adopters to submit an application. We only accept applications for a specific dog you are interested in adopting. We do not keep waiting lists or files of general applications for dogs we might get later. A completed adoption application and, upon approval, an adoption contract is required. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet.

We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
