Birchsap and Buckwheat are a brother/sister pair that were found this past spring by a good samaritan delivery driver after being discarded on a busy highway in Kissimmee along with their other littermates. After giving these babies some TLC, the Good Samaritan reached out for help. All of the other littermates immediately found good homes, but Buckwheat and Birchsap are particularly attached to each other and Birchsap was the only one of the four that tested positive for FeLV.
It’s highly rare that only one member of a litter is positive for FeLV, it’s usually all or none, so this is a rare case! However Birchsap’s adoption fee has been sponsored in hopes of helping find this pair their perfect home. These sweet babies love affection and attention. They both have huge purrs and love to circle your ankles! They both appreciate a good nap in the cat tree and lots of toys. Most importantly they love each other.
Despite Birchsap’s FeLV+ status that will lead to a much shorter than average life for her, both of these gorgeous teenagers are very healthy and happy right now and Buckwheat should lead a normal long healthy life. They deserve a good home full of love and attention. Due to the fact that FeLV can be transmitted to other unvaccinated cats, these two sweethearts must be adopted into a home where 1. they are the only cats, 2. there are other FeLV+ cats, or 3. the other cats in the home have been vaccinated for FeLV.
Must be adopted as a pair, $100 fee applies for Buckwheat.
