My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Daisy was found running on I-45 north of Houston when a good samaritan stopped and
saved her! This sweet little old girl has had a rough life. She has one leg that broke and was
never set. It causes problems sometimes and now has a brace to help her when she needs.
When we had the x-rays done on her legs, we found she is full of buckshot. At some point in her
life she lost part of her tail! Even with all this Miss Daisy is a sweet, loving, senior citizen. We
think she must have lived most of her life outside, her skin and fur were a mess and now she is
burr free, mat free and enjoys regular brush outs. With her paws and nails trimmed her feet are
more comfortable. When she needs to wear her leg brace, she takes it graciously. This girl now
likes her air conditioning and doggy beds. She follows her foster mom everywhere, likes to lie
outside in the yard and watch the other dogs race around. She is a healthy, perky 13 year old,
that can trot around when she is feeling good and gets along with the other dogs in her foster
home. She is an old girl, so probably won't be good with little kids that could be a bit rough. Miss
Daisy just wants a home with dog beds and a place to lie down and rest her weary bones. She
uses the doggy door in her foster home, and is now housebroken. We are not sure how much
longer Miss Daisy has, but she sure likes the life she now has! If there is a home out there for
this old lady, her foster home will miss her and her cute personality.
