'FITZ' and 'ZELDA' are a 1 yr. old German Shepherd duo we rescued from a very small, high kill dog pound the day before they were set to be euthanized due to space. They had been found by the pound, abandoned, in a field the week prior to our rescue. As such, they can be shy and timid initially. Fitz warms up quicker than Zelda, and is really her 'anchor', helping her gain confidence and trust. They are incredibly sweet and the best of friends, loving playing and snuggling together, so it's our desire they be adopted together so they can continue to blossom and flourish. Neither 'Fitz' or 'Zelda' are not yet altered) Fitz and Zelda are current on their vaccinations, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and getting better with house-training. This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
