The Lumineers have a beautifully catchy song about Gloria and if you are familiar with the tune, you will find yourself making up all sorts of new lyrics for this very unique girl. Her colorings are truly unusual and beautiful, mirroring her personality! She is very skittish but has a natural curiosity and has really started warming up to the right people (ie—the ones that feed her). She loves to listen face to face if you need to talk about your day, about the mess she made with her hay, about how strong she must be to move around every item in her cage (including the cage itself!), or about seeing what kinds of greens there are for dinner! Despite her love of food, she is skinny but don’t be fooled, she’s very mighty and full of energy! She spends lots of time every morning and evening zooming, binkying and trying to escape her enclosures! She’s great entertainment! She loves to run but she also loves to hide so a safe room or space might be best to start out. We compare her to a kangaroo: the shape of her face, her coloring and especially her posture leaned forward on her hind legs make her look like a little “Roo”. She is always eager meet other bunnies and loves to snuggle with her sister. She is extremely cautious of new things, sounds and smells and would benefit from a calm, confident companion to help her relax. She is still learning to trust people so she only enjoys the occasional pet. She has excellent litter habits and does not seem to be a big chewer.
