Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shelby is a sweet cuddle bug and a delightful dog who enjoys playing. This 4-year-old girl loves to sit in your lap, go for walks and car rides, run around the backyard, and play at the dog park. Shelly has a small bark that sounds more like a toy, than a dog (it's cute). She quickly goes from a playful dog to a quiet napper. She's accustom to taking naps to soft music with her foster siblings.
Shelby was owner surrendered in May 2021 after having a seizure. Since Shelby has been with her foster parents, she has had two seizures. Shelby's vet does not believe she needs seizure medication, since her seizures are not frequent.
An ideal home for Shelby would be with a retiree or someone who works at home so that Shelby isn't alone when/if she has a seizure. Shelby would also do well in a home with children who know to be gentle with a small dog.
