for $25 adoption to a home without another ferret. 5 years old, neutered, descented.

Sammy is really active and playful. He loves to wrestle with your hand and chase you around the room. He loves to steal house slippers and hide them. He'll roll around on the floor playing with them.

He's deaf, as many blaze ferrets are. He has the beginning of adrenal disease. This is very common in ferrets and is not contagious. It is not usually the cause of death unless untreated. He received a melatonin implant as treatment, which is good for four to six months. The rescue will provide the next implant for free when needed. After that, they are usually $45. Eventually the melatonin implants will stop helping and he'll need a Suprelorin (Des) implant. This is $165 and lasts 12-14 months.

Adoption fee $25. There is an adoption process, which includes reviewing pics of the home and talking with a reference, vet and landlord. Visits are by appointment.
