Gemma is a 25 lb. 4 month old Goldendoodle. She is very loving and playful and very smart. She will not “go” in her crate and will bark early in the morning to let you know she needs to go out. She is working diligently on housetraining, but not quite there.
She loves playing with the two dogs in her foster home and does pretty well with the cat.
She is quite timid when first meeting a stranger but comes around after a while and actually a bit frightened when first meeting a new dog, but shortly after she’s all about playtime. She is doing excellent at retrieving, likes to chase bugs and is showing improvement on her morning leash walks.
She doesn’t care for a bed or carpet but instead will sleep on the wood or tile floor, if not in front of or on the AC vent; she’s even been found sleeping on the shower floor any place to stay cool. She does quite well riding in the car, but prefers being up front. She likes to always be close to her human and will genuinely follow you everywhere. She’s working on a few commands and doing quite well; did we say she’s smart?
