Meet Mumsy!
Mumsy was found running off the freeway in Houston, Texas with her friend
Kelly. We tried to trap them, but they ended up running into an abandoned gated property. We started feeding them for the week until we got permission to enter the property. They warmed up to us over the course of a few days and when we finally rescued them, they were so happy! Mumsy is the most loving girl. She didn't skip a beat when she got caught. She immediately transitioned to the boujee life and wanted to be with us all the time. She loves to be loved on. She is amazing in a crate and very quiet. She would make an excellent dog for an apartment. She loves to hang in her crate with the door open. She loves PLUSH beds (spoiled, right?)
Mumsy is house broken. She loves all people and gets along with all the dogs and even a cat. She is scared at first. Living on the street will do that, but with just a short amount of time when she knows she is safe she allows herself to play. If you want a dog that will stay by your side, then Mumsy is your girl! She loves attention and human affection. Mumsy is about 1 year old and 15 lbs. When you get home from being gone, she will run around and jump out of excitement. Mumsy's activity level is medium, she is definitely not a couch potato. We would love see her go to home where she would great regular walks, maybe like to do an agility class. She loves to get the rips around the yard.
Mumsy's ideal home will have a playmate for her. She would LOVE a fenced yard to be able to show you her doggy agility abilities.

**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above.
Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
