My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lacey was surrendered along with another bunny after a rough start at only four months of age. She is a bit skittish with new people and has some trust issues. She has been bounced around a bit from foster to foster through no fault of her own (issues with fosters not the rabbit) but this has contributed to her skittishness. She would do much better in a home without children or with older quieter children. She is not a bunny who likes to cuddle but she will sit for quite a while to be petted. She loves to explore her surroundings. She loves to eat and will come running whenever she hears her hay box being refilled or the pellet jar shaking. Her schedule fits in well without someone who works during the day as her daily nap time coincides with the usual 9 to 5ish work schedules. Lacey is a very clean bunny and makes sure her fur is immaculate. She also likes to have her litter box cleaned out once a day and is perfectly litter trained. She would do very well in a home where she was the only pet so she could have her owners' undivided attention. We are looking for a quieter home with people who understand an animal's anxiety and where she can feel safe and have people who will love her and give her a forever home.
