Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rosco came to us when he sought shelter through a cat door in the winter with a horrible injury to his back leg. The injury has since healed, but he walks with a limp and the vet recommended he be an indoor only cat. After his leg had healed, he started getting urinary crystals, so he will be on a special diet for the rest of his life to prevent crystals from forming again.
Rosco started out very scared, and did not like people. He would smack food dishes from our hands, and bite or scratch us every chance he got. We didn't give up on him, and he is a wonderful, sweet, loving cat now! Rosco wants to be the center of attention, and enjoys being pet whenever he has a chance. He tolerates being picked up, held in a lap, and he even accepts kisses on his head. Rosco can be a little rough when he gets overstimulated, and his transition into a new home may come with some scratches, so we would love someone experienced with cats and their behavior problems to adopt Rosco and ME-ME, who he has bonded with.
