My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willa was just rescued from the shelter and is looking for a great new home. She is thought to be about 6-7yrs old and weighs around 45lbs. Willa is super sweet and people friendly. She loves anyone that will give her some pets and attention. Willa does fine with other mellow dogs like her but isn't a fan of rambunctious dogs :)

Here is some info provided by her fostermom to help you get to know Willa better:

What can we say about Willa? Well, she is just as sweet as can be! She’s an easy-going girl who loves pets and head scratches and loves to relax. Treats are, of course, a must; and we’re working with Willa on curbing her begging. Of course, she’s a husky, so she’s got that sassy husky streak to her! That being said, Willa is quiet as a mouse and rarely barks or speaks (and always with a purpose when she does). She does know “Sit” (though she likes to sometimes pretend she didn’t hear you). And while she doesn’t appear to know other commands right now, Willa’s generally very easy-going and mild-mannered. Did we mention Willa loves treats? She really does!

And though she’s generally a lazy and relatively independent girl, Willa would benefit greatly from a home where she is welcome to join you on your daily adventures. She would also benefit from further and consistent training for basic manners and obedience. Right now, Willa would most benefit from being the only pet at home.
