Petunia is a sweet 5 month old (dob ~4/2021) 33 pound mixed breed pup who was rescued from the streets of Mexico. She will be around 60-65 pounds full grown. She needs a good sized yard and a confident, friendly dog buddy in her new home. She likes people, is cuddly and friendly and her beautiful dark eyes will warm your heart. She is shy with new dogs, and can bark, which can be off-putting. She gets along with the dogs in her foster home. Training classes will be a must with this girl, she is smart and responds well to positive training, but needs continued work with her socialization skills. She finds cats fun to chase, so a home cats will not be a match. She would be fine in a home with children 8 and older, because she can be rambunctious and may knock a smaller child over. She is crate trained and doing well with potty training and is pretty good at walking on the leash. She will be an energetic, smart dog, so an active family with large breed experience is a must.
