Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Josey was adopted January 2022!
PERSONALITY
I’m delightful, quirky, independent, and confident. Food is a great motivator for me, possibly stemming from a lack of it while living on the streets. My confidence level is high; I love to greet strangers.
When so inclined, I wrap myself around my human’s legs and hold on. I haven’t displayed a cuddly side as yet, but that might change with time.
Favorite Toy: Absolutely adore my scratching post — I wrap myself around it; it’s probably my favorite place.
Favorite Napping Spot: Another favorite place is in the hammock attached to my scratching post.
HOW I CAME TO THE PGSPCA
I was found wandering the streets, sick and underweight. A good-hearted woman alerted PGSPCA of my suffering and it’s a good thing she did! I was severely anemic, very dehydrated, and had alarmingly low blood pressure. After an emergency trip to the vet in the middle of the night, PGSPCA raised enough money for a blood transfusion and I recovered well. Now I'm ready for a home of my own.
DREAM FAMILY
I would be perfectly happy being an only cat. With careful supervision, I will adjust to other cats and dogs. My perfect family would appreciate my independence.
Josey's stats:
Age: 2-3 years
Weight: 9 lbs.
Good with kids: Yes
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with other cats: yes
