Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there! I`m Maxine, the sweetest little feline you ever did see. I am bonded to my friend Shadow. We`re like two peas in a pod, and we love to play and groom each other. I`m a friendly and playful cat who just loves attention. Cuddles and pets are my absolute favorite, and I`ll happily sit by your side all day long, soaking up the affection. When I`m not snuggling, you can find me zooming around, chasing after toys and exploring every nook and cranny. I`m always up for a good game, whether it`s batting at a feather wand or rolling around with a ball. My curious nature means I`ll poke my nose into everything, but don`t worry - I promise I won`t get into too much trouble! I can`t wait to find my forever home and shower you with love. What do you say, want to be my new best friend? How did I get here? I was owner surrendered; due to housing changes.
**We are currently living at the admission center - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet us in person!**
~Our adoption fee is $100.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
