WINNIE is a delightful, happy and affectionate girl. She loves cuddling, having her belly rubbed and giving kisses. WINNIE loves to have fun and truly enjoys the company of other dogs. That being said, WINNIE must go to a home with at least one other friendly pup. She is instantly comfortable with them and is happiest when in their presence. She is such a sweet dog, who only wants to be near her people and her pack. WINNIE’s house manners are impeccable, and her foster family says she has been a joyful addition to their household. She loves to go on all kinds of adventures and outings. Her poise and friendly disposition make her the perfect dog to accompany her forever family everywhere. WINNIE honestly brings happiness and good vibes wherever she goes. She is house broken, does well in her crate while her foster family is away and has never been destructive in the house. Her forever family will feel blessed sharing their lives with her.

WINNIE is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
